A California nonprofit in mental health and human services sought to launch a residential care program. Their goal was to raise awareness, highlight trauma-informed care offerings, and generate leads through a dedicated website. They needed a responsive, visually compelling WordPress site that could clearly convey the program’s impact while driving inquiries from families and partners.
Problem
The challenge was to lead my design team in creating a responsive WordPress website under a tight deadline that balanced aesthetics with usability. I directed the team through three design mockups, applied a mobile-first approach, optimized images and content, and ensured the design aligned with Hillsides’ brand and mission while integrating lead-generation tools like contact forms.
Outcome
Under my leadership, the design team successfully launched the website on time and within scope. The site not only met all functional requirements but also elevated Hillsides’ digital presence, serving as an effective lead-generation channel and helping the organization better promote its residential care program to families in need.
